About The Rook

This section serves as an introduction to the city of The Rook, the details of which are below. There are three main books and four “Tales of The Rook” books (this is the fourth), all set in the same city. A number of characters in each crossover from book to book, so there are always new and familiar faces to read about.

Details of the books are below. I have also included at the end of this book a sample (two chapters) from the first book in the trilogy.

Tales From The Rook

The city of The Rook is a striking fusion of a London that never came to be. With echoes of Elizabethan, Victorian, and Georgian design woven through its streets (alongside traces of steampunk and deep currents of magic), it hums with secrets and stories. Home to a multitude of unusual beings and hidden histories (goblins are most definitely not ruled out), the city invites you to uncover its mysteries. Tread carefully – but remember to guard your purse!
